Gurudavajayanthi and Onam celebration 2019

165th Gurudava Jayanthi was celebrated by SNECS Hyderabad along with Onam with participation of VIPs, special invitees, members of SNECS and SNVB students and staff.

The celebrations started with pooja and bhajan at Gurumandiram on the Chatayam day (13-9-19) at 6am.

On 15-9-19 public function was inaugurated by Bhramashri Visuddananda Swamikal president SN Dharmasangam Trust Sivagiri. Hon’ble Judge of the High court of Telangana Shri T Amarnath Goud was the chief guest and Shri KK Sasidharan Vice Chairman , Advisory Board, Universal Confederation of Sree Narayana Guru Organizations was the guest of honour.

Delivering the inaugural speech Swamikal said that humanity is the essence of the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru. Though certain sections of population have benefited more from Gurus teachings, guru worked from a plane beyond limitations and it’s heartening to see gurus message getting wider acceptability.
Justice Shri T Amarnath in his address stressed the need to have frequent medical check of students especially for eyesight. He advised the parents to have strict watch over the activities of children.

Three books on Sree Narayana Guru’s teachings, one each in English, Telugu and Malayalam were released on the occasion. The English book titled “Inter-Faith Harmony The Need of Humanity and the Vision of Sree Narayana Guru” is a compilation of 36 scholarly papers presented at the International Conference on Inter-Faith Harmony held during October 2016 at Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, compiled by Smt. Sathyabai Sivadas. The Telugu book titled “Advaitharushi Kulanirmoolana Viplava Pravaktha Sree Narayana Guru” by Vijayavihaaram Ramana Murty published by Jaibharath Publications, Hyderabad. The Malayalam book “Kudumba Prarthana” is a compilation of prayers by Gurudev and others.

Various organizations from social, cultural and business fields felicitated Swamikal on the stage.

Smt. Reena Vijayachandran, Principal SNVB presented a brief report of the school and prizes were distributed to the outstanding performers. Cultural program was presented by SNVB students and SNECS members.

Onasadya was arranged for all participants.
